Christ: Presentation -- Behind circular altar on pedestal decorated with acanthus leaves, Simeon of Jerusalem, nimbed, wearing bishop's miter and cope, standing below canopy, holds, on drape, nude Christ Child. He extends left arm and looks toward Virgin Mary, nimbed, kneeling with joined hands resting on altar. Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, stands next to her holding small box containing doves (?). Acolyte, tonsured, stands holding book open toward Simeon.
