Magi: Adoration -- Two magi, one wearing cap and holding crowned hat in right hand and reliquary-like vessel in right hand, and the other wearing crowned, pointed hat and ermine-trimmed mantle, holding round vessel in draped left hand and pointing with right hand, stand behind third magus, kneeling beside crown on ground, holding in both hands chalice-like vessel of gold coins before nude Christ Child, with crossed nimbus, seated on lap of Virgin Mary, with scalloped nimbus. Behind her is Joseph, hooded, with right hand raised to his face and holding staff in left hand, standing before brocade cloth of honor inside shed with holes in the roof. Scene in landscape with trees, rocks, distant city and star above.
Margins with foliate ornament, with two medallions and a quatrefoil enclosing foliate ornament. Left margin inhabited by hybrid man, wearing pointed hat, holding saber in left hand. Baguette with foliate ornament framing sides and bottom of miniature and textblock.
