Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, nimbed, wearing short loincloth, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus INRI. Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled with wimple, raising right hand, extending left hand toward feet of Christ, stands at right. At left, Evangelist John, nimbed, stands with hands clasped.
Scene in landscape with hills and trees; hills in distance.
Margins:
1) Vignette with salamander amid flames with scroll inscribed NVTRIOR.
2) Medallion enclosing knotted cord with tassles, entwined by scroll inscribed F(IDES) ET A(MOR).
