Magi: Adoration -- Magus, with crown on ground beside him, bending forward, kneels before and holds right foot of nude Christ Child, nimbed, seated on lap of Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled. Behind Virgin Mary stands Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, and a woman, wearing veil or kerchief. Behind the kneeling magus stand the other two magi, both crowned, holding vessels with both hands. Behind them are attendants, wearing hats, and three horses, two with riders. In sky is star. Scene within initial D decorated with foliate ornament.
