Virgin Mary: Death -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, reclines on bed with hands crossed. Above her, Christ, cross-nimbed, making gesture of blessing with right hand and holding Mary's soul (as small nimbed and veiled figure) in his left hand.
They are surrounded by eleven nimbed Apostles, including Peter, holding aspergil in right hand and situla in left hand. Of other Apostles, one has joined hands raised, another holds open book, and another is seated at side of bed with open book on his lap, beside candle on floor.
Margins decorated with floreate border.
