Miniature:
Magi: Adoration -- First of three Magi, wearing turban with crown, holds gold cup with left hand; the second, wearing hat with crown, holds gold covered cup with left hand. The third with joined hands raised, kneels before Virgin Mary, nimbed, seated on canopied throne, holding on her lap nude Christ Child, rays as nimbus, extending his right hand to kneeling Magus. Gold vessel is at her feet. Rays stream through hold in roof.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament, including thistle, strawberry and viola.
