Christ: Flight into Egypt -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, seated sideways on ass, suckles Christ Child, with crossed nimbus, held in her lap. Joseph, wearing headdress, with crutch in left hand, leads the ass with reins held in right hand. Scene in landscape with hills, trees, and setting or rising sun, emanating rays.
Margins with foliate and vinescroll ornament inhabited by hybrid man, possibly horned, with four legs and both hands raised.
