Christ: Deposition -- Body of Christ, with crossed nimbus, with wounds in hands and side, and feet affixed to cross with titulus inscribed INRI, is supported by draped hands of Joseph of Arimathea, wearing hat and with purse at waist. Holding left arm of Christ is Nicodemus, wearing hat, standing on ladder leaning against the cross. Holding right hand of Christ is Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, standing beside Evangelist John, nimbed. Background with diapered patterns. Arc of heaven above. Margins with floreate ornament.
