Beginning of I John.
Evangelist, John: Conversion of Aristodemus, John requested to drink Poison -- John, nimbed, raises right hand in blessing and holds in left hand goblet, upon which is demon. He stands before man, with right hand raised. At his feet are two men, reclining on ground.
In left margin is fantastic animal and in lower margin is John, nimbed, seated on bench, at desk, writing in open book with pseudo-inscription. Before him is man, holding spear in right hand, kneeling on one knee.
In right margin is centaur holding stick in each hand.
