Christ: Ascension -- Virgin Mary, veiled, left hand on breast, seated on bench, looking toward two of seven or eight apostles, seated, foremost holding book with both hands. Feet of Christ and hem of garment visible above. All in initial P decorated with foliate ornament at beginning of Acts of the Apostles.
