Zone 1:
1) David: Punishment of Amalekite -- David sits on bench, with right hand directing man, wearing cap, raising sword in his right hand and grasping with his left hand hair of Amalekite, neck nearly severed, kneeling with joined hands, beside man standing with right hand raised; Saul's crown on ground. 2) David: communicating with God, and David: proclaimed King -- Christ-Logos, cross-nimbed, emerges from cloud above David kneeling with joined hands raised, attended by three Judahites, Ahinoam veiled, and Abigail wearing berbette. They accompany man holding crown, beside David with hands joined at his breast, anointed from vessel of affusion by priest, head draped, holding box in left hand, in front of three men.
