Elizabeth and Infant John Baptist -- Elizabeth, nimbed, wearing wimpled veil, holding gathered mantle in right hand, stands and holds with left hand right hand of John Baptist, as small child, nimbed, holding in right arm Lamb of God, nimbed, and tiny cross-staff with cross-inscribed banner. Figures in landscape with trees and hills. Rays emanate from top of arch of miniature.
Margins with foliate and ivy-rinceaux ornament. In right margin is butterfly.
