John of Lycopolis: Scene, Death -- John of Lycopolis, nimbed, tonsured, wearing monk’s habit, seated on ground, with right hand raised, from mouth issuing nimbed and nude soul, arms crossed on breast, borne to heaven by half-figures of two nimbed angels. The John of Lycopolis surrounded by four monks, one kneeling with joined hands raised, one hooded and partly kneeling, one hooded with right hand holding candle and the other, tonsured, reading from open book with pseudo-inscriptions.
