Shepherds: Annunciation -- Nimbed angel with scroll, inscribed GLORIA IN EXELC[...] DEO based on Luke 2:14, descends from clouds toward two shepherds. One, bearded, with pedum in his right hand, raises his left hand toward the angel, and stands beside dog glancing toward the other shepherd wearing hood, playing bagpipe, and sitting on hillock with herd of sheep, and goat nibbling tree.
Scene within Gothic architectural frame decorated with cusps of foliate terminals, pair of twisted hybrid animals, and six heraldic escutcheons, including Hangest, Count of Soissons (?), and Count of Grandpr³b, in medallions.
