Zone 1:
Abner: Alliance with David -- Soldiers attend Abner in mail, with spear in left hand, instructing four messengers, one armed with spear, one kneeling with pitchfork.
To right, three messengers from Abner, one armed with spear, and one kneeling with pitchfork, appear before David, crowned, with fleur-de-lis scepter in left hand and right hand raised. Attended by two men, he sits on animal faldstool with footstool under canopy. Illustration of II Samuel 3:12.
Zone 2:
David: Michal returned -- Two men attend Phalti with hands clasped. One of four soldiers in mail places hand on shoulder of Michal, veiled, wearing vair-lined mantle. The other three, armed with spears and halberd, lead Michal away.
