David: as Musician -- David, wearing jewelled crown, sits on throne and plays harp. Six men, wearing hats, flank throne. Scene in room with marble paneling.
Floreate margins, with man, with spear over shoulder, and greyhound in lower margin. Four vignettes (counterclockwise from lower left):
1) David: commanding Uriah -- David, crowned, seated on throne, extends letter in left hand to Uriah the Hittite, wearing armor, kneeling before him.
2) Uriah the Hittite: leading Army -- Uriah, wearing armor, seated astride caparisoned horse, leads army of armored soldiers.
3) Uriah the Hittite: Death -- Uriah, wearing helmet, astride fallen horse, is transfixed (?), by armored man astride caparisoned horse. Army in background.
4) David: repentant -- David, crowned, lies prostrate on floor before throne. Beside the throne stand Nathan, with right hand raised, and another man. Scene in room with marble-paneled walls.
