Juliana of Nicomedia: Scene, Torture -- Two men, one wearing hat, holding rod to flames, and the other using bellows, tend fire beneath cauldron, full of water or lead, on square metal stand. In the cauldron stands Juliana of Nicomedia, nimbed, nude, holding martyr's palm in left hand, with arms crossed on her breast. Above, in arc of heaven emanating rays, is hand of God, in gesture of blessing, before cross-inscribed globe (?). Scene in landscape with trees and hills.
Margins with foliate and ivy-rinceaux ornament. In right margin is vase with flowers and vinescroll and in lower margin, encircling flowers, is scroll inscribed AULTRE NE VEUL MES.
