Bishop, nimbed, tonsured, bleeding from wound on head, wearing cope and gloves, stands with joined hands. Miter lies next to him on ground. Star or sun above emits rays that touch his head. He is facing horseman, wearing hat with feather, and armor, raising sword in right hand. Scene before church pierced by sword. In background, group of male figures and hill, behind which are towers.
Margins decorated with floreate ornament. In lower margin, heraldic shield of Pierre de Bosredont (quarterly, vair and gules).
