1) Confessio Amantis: Scene, Lydians succumbing to Lust -- Woman, wearing butterfly headdress, holding small dog with right hand on her lap is seated on bench with cushions, holding with her left hand, the right hand of man, wearing tall brimless hat, looking toward her. At right, another woman, wearing butterfly headdress and gown lined with vair, is flanked by two men, both wearing tall brimless hats, one holding her right hand with his right hand and her right arm with his left hand, and the other, his back turned to her, touching her left hand with his right hand. Man playing harp stands in background.

2) Confessio Amantis: Scene, Hebrews succumbing to Lust -- Of three couples, all women wear butterfly headdresses, and men wear tall brimless hats. Of first couple, man, wearing long tunic, stands behind woman wearing gown decorated and lined with vair, his right hand on her abdomen. She grasps his right wrist with her right hand, raises her left hand, and looks back over her shoulder at him. Second couple embrace and kiss; man stands on her gown lined with vair. Third couple stand side by side, her right hand around his waist, his left hand behind her, each gesturing with other hand.
