Psalm 099 (Vulg., 098) -- Initial D of Dominus enclosing head of hooded and bearded man against gold background; the initial’s ascender and descender extending across all margins partly formed by dragon-like hybrid animals, one biting frame, one biting the other’s back, and terminating in bust of hybrid man, bald, with right hand raised to chin and with left hand lowered (upper), and in bust of soldier, wearing helmet, with left hand extending bow and with right hand drawn (lower).
