Apollo of Thebaid: Scene, in Prison -- Within grated window of prison, Apollo of Thebaid, nimbed, wearing cap, surrounded by group of tonsured monks, all wearing monk’s habits. At left, group of men, kneeling, one with joined hands raised, accompanying the foremost soldier, wearing armor, with sword tied to waist and joined hands raised. To right, group of soldiers, helmeted and wearing full-armor, the foremost holding mace, with sword tied to waist, and two carrying shields decorated with heraldry of scorpion and head in profile, also carrying spear.
