Jerome: Scene, removing Thorn from Lion's Paw -- Jerome, nimbed, wearing cardinal's hat is seated on throne with book resting on arm of throne. Holding it with right hand, Jerome removes thorn with left hand from left front paw of lion, standing on hind feet at Jerome's left knee. Diapered background.
Margins decorated with rectilinear bars with vines.
