In initial D, Julian of Le Mans, nimbed, wearing miter, raises right hand in blessing and holds crozier with left hand.
Next to initial I, bust of God (?), nimbed, emerging from cloud, touches with right hand, rod held by Mellonius of Rouen, nimbed, wearing bishop's miter and vestments. He holds cross staff with left hand.
Initials on gold backgrounds and decorated with ornament of rinceaux.
