Christ: Crucifixion -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, stands with joined hands raised before Christ, with crossed rays as nimbus, wearing short loin cloth and crown of thorns, bleeding from wounds, affixed with three nails to cross with titulus inscribed INRI.
Text and miniature enclosed in classicizing architectural frame, with pelican in her piety, surrounded by chicks in pediment; and in medallion at base, mitered bishop blessing (?) kneeling monk (?).
