Christ: among Doctors -- Christ, decorated crossed nimbus, in red garment, raises right hand in blessing and sits on throne, flanked by eight doctors, three with heads draped, seated on benches, in two groups. Behind balustrade, Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, stands beside Virgin Mary, nimbed, wearing cross-inscribed veil, raising her hands toward her Son.
