Stephen Protomartyr: Stoning -- From arc of Heaven, Christ, crossed nimbus, looks down toward Stephen, nimbed and tonsured, kneeling, hands raised, two stones at his head. He looks up toward three executioners, two raising right hands holding stones, one holding stones in garment held by left hand, and the third with right arm extended, as though having just thrown stone. At left, Saul of Tarsus, indicating the scene with right hand, is seated on cushioned bench before buildings.
