Psalm 014 (Vulg., 013)
1) Adam: commanded by God -- Nude Adam indicates one of two trees beside cross-nimbed Christ-Logos. He holds scroll, inscribed EX OMNI LIGNO PARADISI COMEDE. DE LIGNO AUTEM SCIENTIE BONI ET MALI NE COMEDAS from Genesis 2:17 in His left hand. He raises His right hand toward the other tree bearing fruit.
Scene within initial D decorated with foliate ornament.
2) Personification of River of Paradise, inscribed PHYSON, partly draped, holds vase from which stream is flowing to the first initial.
