Christ: Presentation -- Beneath canopy, Simeon, nimbed, wearing high priest's miter, with joined hands raised, stands before draped altar before which kneels Virgin Mary, nimbed, holding Christ Child, nimbed, nude, extending right hand and turning back toward Simeon, behind them is Joseph the Carpenter, hooded, with right hand raised to head, leaning on staff in left hand. In background, among two male attendants, wearing hats, one raises left hand, and one female attendant stands, beside candle, holding basket of two doves in her left hand, all in room, possibly in temple, with paneled walls with inscriptions near ceiling, and tiled floor.
Decorated initial D of Deus at None of Hours for the Virgin.
Margins decorated with floreate and foliate ornament, including strawberries and thistles.
