Male blasphemer is bound by neck to column. Man, wearing hat, transfixes him in mouth with knife. Behind them is group of men, all wearing hats, astride horses, and man, wearing hat, holding spear in right hand. In background are two halberds and spear. Figures are amid buildings of city. In draped window above is half figure of king, wearing crown, holding scepter in right hand.
Miniature is surrounded by architectural frame, at top of which are two putti, holding garland. At bottom of frame are two half-figures of putti in shells, extending their hands toward each other.
