Margin, upper: Personification of Vice, Sloth, inscribed PERESCE, is represented by man, wearing headgear, tunic, unravelled stockings and shoe, beside another shoe on floor, accompanied by winged, horned devil with claw feet, extending hands. Figures stand in room with three arched windows, decorative wall and tiled floor. Arched vignette within block border of floreate decoration. Margin, lower: Jacob: wrestling with Angel -- Under starry sky, angel and Jacob, inscribed IACOB, grasp each other, in hilly landscape with trees (suggesting link with Zodiac Sign: Taurus). Square vignette within block border of floreate decoration, including thistles. Block border at right margin of floreate and foliate decoration, including currants.
