Christ: Betrayal and Arrest, and Apostle, Peter: cutting off Ear of Malchus -- Judas kisses Christ, decorated nimbus. To left are group of apostles (only nimbi visible), and Apostle Peter, decorated nimbus, tonsured, replacing sword in scabbard, above Malchus, with blood issuing from his left ear, holding sword in right hand, and lying on ground. To right, group of soldiers, wearing mail, with spears, halberds, and banner, trample over wattled fence. One soldier, wearing turban, grasps Christ's shoulder. Starred background.
