Magi: Adoration -- Eldest Magus, kneeling, with both hands, extends cup to Christ Child, crossed nimbus, semi-nude, extending right hand to the cup. He is seated on lap of Virgin Mary, nimbed, seated on bench, holding His right arm with her right hand. The other two Magi, one crowned, one wearing crown on hat, both raising right hands and holding covered cups with left hand stand in background. Joseph the Carpenter (?) wearing hat or hood, with hands clasped (?) stands in doorway behind Virgin Mary. Rays descend from above.
Scene before ruined stone building below thatched roof in which is hole.
Margins decorated with stripes of floreate ornament, including rose, daisy and thistle, and inhabited by winged fantastic animal and hybrid bird.
