Shepherds: Annunciation -- Amid sheep, one of two shepherds, wearing hat, holding bagpipe under right arm, raising left hand, sits on ground, and the other, his hood half off, with joined hands, and with objects hanging at his waist, kneels on ground. Both look up toward angel, nimbed, right arm extended, hovering above them, near illegible inscription. In foreground next to the two shepherds are two peda and dog, also looking up. In background amid sheep are two more shepherds, each holding pedum, one looking up toward angel. Scene in landscape with bushes and trees, and river and town in distance.
Margins decorated with border of floreate and foliate ornament including viola, strawberry, rose, grapes, and sweet pea.
