Christ: Ascension -- Rays descend from feet of Christ at top of initial C. Below, Apostle, nimbed, with joined hands, Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, left hand on breast, right hand extended, and second apostle, nimbed, shielding eyes with left (?) hand, all look up. Scene in initial C on gold ground and decorated with floreate ornament. Left margin decorated with vertical bars terminating in floreate ornament. At beginning of collect for feast of Ascension.
