Zone 1:
Crowned queen, possibly Blanche of Castile, veiled in white, wearing vair-lined mantle, seated on throne of foliate type, raises hands toward crowned king, possibly Louis IX of France, beardless, holding bird surmounting fleur-de-lis scepter in right hand and round object, possibly seal matrix, in left hand, seated on throne.
Zone 2:
Below, tonsured cleric, wearing hooded garment, seated on chair, beside open book, inscribed LAIST CI A FOY TEINDRE, on lectern, extends right forefinger toward male artist, wearing cap, seated on cushioned bench, holding knife in left hand and stylus in right hand on parchment, depicted with underdrawings of medallions (four in left column, part of fifth visible in right column, three obscured by his right arm), on lectern.
Each register with gold backgrounds and with pair of figures under two round trefoil arches, surmounted by buildings.
