Scene, Liturgical: Obsequies -- Man wearing hat stands in grave holding body sewn into shroud; shovel and mattock are next to the grave. Two clerics, tonsured, one holding open book, stand at end of the grave; acolyte, tonsured, holding processional cross with right hand stands at side of the grave. At left, two mourners, hooded, stand amid five (?) men wearing hats. Porch of church is behind the grave. In background is charnel house in which skulls are visible.
Margins decorated with border of foliate and floreate ornament including dianthus, and inhabited by hybrid man in upper margin.
