Virgin Mary: Prayer before Death -- In upper left column, Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, with joined hands, sits in draped canopy bed. She looks up toward half-figure of Christ, rays as cross nimbus, extending right hand in blessing, appearing in window at upper right. Old man, possibly Joseph the Carpenter, head draped, eyes closed, right hand to face sits next to the bed. Devil, horned, crouches at foot of the bed.
Virgin Mary: Prayer before Death (?) -- In lower left column, Virgin Mary nimbed and veiled, semi-reclining in draped bed, extends both hands toward three men wearing hats, standing next to bed.Pen-flourished initials.
