Confessio Amantis: Scene, Virginius slaying Daughter -- Virginius, wearing tall brimless hat, and tunic with fur lining, holding her neck with left hand, with right hand stabs Virginia in breast. She holds her right hand on her breast. At left is man wearing tall brimless hat and tunic with fur lining, with joined hands. At right is emperor, crowned, wearing mantle and fur lined robe, right hand raised, indicating father and daughter with left hand.
