Bust of man wearing hat over cap, enclosed in initial Q decorated with foliate ornament. Margins decorated with floreate ornament and gold balls; in center margin, monk, tonsured, wearing gray habit, standing next to the initial Q, hands extended downward toward the initial. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn, for Matins on Saturday in first week of Lent.
