Margin, left: Joseph the Carpenter: Dream II -- Nimbed angel, wearing stole, grasping shoulder of Joseph the Carpenter, hooded, with head propped on left hand and with right hand on staff, partly reclining beneath wattled fence. In foregroud, scroll inscribed SURGE ET ACCIPE PUEREM from Matthew 02:13. Scene in landscape with city in background. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration, including columbines, and strawberries, inhabited by monkeys (upper and lower).
