Border composed of bands of foliate ornament, inhabited by numerous grotesques, including hybrid women and men, some in pairs flanking medallions with animal masks or geometric ornament. In lower margin, pair of hybrids flank escutcheon with Clavering arms (quarterly or and gules a bend sable).
In corners are quatrefoils with geometric ornament.
Small initials with foliate ornament.
Square musical notation on four-line staves.
