Left column:
Virgin Mary: Coronation -- Within mandorla (?) Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, both hands raised, is seated next to Christ, crossed nimbus, crowned, raising right hand. They are surrounded by five angels, nimbed. Below, at left, three men and one woman, nimbed, kneel, one with joined hands raised, all looking up. At right are three clerics, nimbed and tonsured, kneeling, two with joined hands raised, all looking up.
Caption, REGNUM CELO(RUM) ERIT RET(RI)BUC(I)O B(EA)TO(RUM), is inscribed above miniature.
Right column:
Solomon: visited by Queen of Sheba -- Queen of Sheba, name inscribed REGINA SABA, crowned, stands before Solomon, name inscribed REX SALOMON, crowned, raising right hand, seated on throne with footrest.
