Apollo of Thebaid: Scene, Death -- Apollo of Thebaid, nimbed, wearing hooded monk’s habit, seated on ground, raises right hand in blessing toward nimbed soul, partly draped, with joined hands raised, borne to heaven by two nimbed angels. The Apollo supported from behind by monk, and another monk standing. At right, group of kneeling tonsured monks, the foremost two with joined hands raised; all wearing monk’s habits.
