Zone 1:
1) David: told of Absalom's Death -- Three soldiers, in mail, one armed with spear, stand by caparisoned horse, behind Ahimaaz, in mail, raising right hand. Cushi, wearing cap, kneels, addressing David, crowned, with clasped hands raised to his face, beside four men, all in portal. Illustration of II Samuel 18:31-32.
2) David: seated before Gate -- Four men stand in portal of building; David, crowned, stands before throne, addressing group of soldiers in mail, armed with spears, two with scabbards at belts. Illustration of II Samuel 19:8.
Zone 2:
