Border composed of bands of foliate ornament, inhabited by numerous grotesques, incling pairs of hybrid animals, including one wearing helmet, and hybrid men, including one wearing miter. flanking quatrefoils at corners. In top margin, flanked by hybrids, is escutcheon with Clavering arms (quarterly argent and gules a bend sable).
