Left column:
Virgin Mary: Coronation --Virgin Mary, crowned, with hands raised, is seated on bench facing Christ, crossed nimbus, raising right hand in blessing, holding tripartite globe with left hand. Below their feet is scroll inscribed LETICIA SE(M)PITER(N)A SUP(ER) CAPITA EORUM (Isaiah 51:11). They are surrounded by arc of cloud and flanked by fourteen figures, two with joined hands, many only heads visible, possibly angels. Below are eleven apostles, nimbed, including Evangelist John, Peter and Paul, six with joined hands, others only heads visible.Right column:
