Bust of back-turned man or woman wearing hood, enclosed in initial Q decorated with foliate ornament. Margins decorated with floreate ornament, knot and gold balls; in left margin, man raising book with right hand, standing on block, back turned to text. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for Matins on Tuesday in second week of Lent.
