Back-turned bust of man wearing fillet (crown), enclosed within initial N decorated with foliate ornament. Margins decorated with foliate ornament; in lower margin, man, raising right hand, extending left hand, seated on pillow. Pen flourished initials. Text is first lesson, first nocturn for Matins on Friday in second week of Lent.
