Petronilla of Rome, nimbed, holding martyr's palm in right hand and book with two clasps in left hand, stands in landscape with trees. In background at left, man, carrying sack on his back, walks up hill toward windmill. To right is castle, with banners flying from tops of towers. Rays emanate from top of arch of miniature.
Margins with foliate and ivy-rinceaux ornament. In right margin encircling flowers is scroll inscribed AULTRE NE VEUL MES. In lower margin is vase with flowers.
