Psalm 069:01 (Vulg., 068:02).
In upper part of initial S, Christ-Logos, cross-nimbed, emerges from cloud, extending right hand in blessing King David, crowned, kneeling with joined hands raised, at left; to right, King David, again represented, raises joined hands (as half figure only).
In lower part of the initial, two men stand, including one looking back at David, crowned, nude, amid waters, gesturing toward them.
Scenes against gold backgrounds, within decorated initial S above which is hooded hybrid man with animal legs in left margin. with foliate descender in left marginwith horizontal bar in left margin.
Initial S with foliate descender in left margin, and with horizontal bar with pairs rings and balls, quatrefoil at center, and foliate terminals in lower margin.
Foliate bar in left margin and another bar inhabited by stork in upper margin.
